I was looking through my posts and realized I hadn't posted about the nursery progress since the end of May. Call me crazy but that seems like forever ago!! That was back when I was way smaller and we were finding out we were having a girl!
Okay recap...this is where we started with the nursery. Two words: HOT MESS!!
After selling our desk and finding hiding places for everything else you see above...we finally got the nursery looking like this.
Ahhhh blank slate!! Now add a carpet remnant, dresser and chair and you've got this!
Bookshelves are of course added because our little Ella is going to be a smart cookie. AKA We needed somewhere to put all of our books. The top right shelf is Ella's. We figured the Webster Dictionary was a good place to start for a newborn.
I was even feeling overzealous one day and did the closets in the room. Little Ella only gets half the closet though. Sorry kid, it's a tough life.
Clearly this one is mommy and daddy's half...

Mkay that's all for now. Next time I'll tell you about the sweet deals I got for the crib, stroller system and crib mattress. Mmmmm love me a good deal!!
